Cord-End Terminals
- Cord-end Terminals, also known as Insulated Ferrules, are a type of electrical connector used to terminate the stranded wires of a cable before connecting them to a terminal block or screw terminal. Cord-end terminals provide a neat, reliable, and secure connection by preventing the fraying of stranded wires and ensuring consistent conductivity.
- Material: Made of high-conductivity copper, applied with tin plating to resist corrosion. The plastic insulations are made of high-quality nylon.
- Design: Consists of a metal tube (where the wire is inserted) and an insulated collar that supports the wire strands and provides insulation.
- Sizes: Available in a wide range of sizes to accommodate different wire gauges and connection requirements.
- Color-Coded: Color-coded based on the wire gauge they are designed to fit, making it easier to select the right terminal.
- MAX OPERATING TEMPERATURE (°C): 115
- FLAMMABILITY (UL-94): V2
